Bournemouth Park Bowling Club - Dress code

The normal bowling attire comnsists of shoes, trousers or shorts and a shirt.

Shirt* Coloured, purple & white with collar When player is representing the club e.g. Group 6, Cutler Shield, Larman Cup, Centenary Cup, County competitions, London & Southern Counties competitions, Southend & District competitions
Trousers Grey When player is representing the club e.g. Group 6, Cutler Shield, Larman Cup, Centenary Cup, Friendlies
Trousers White When player is bowling e.g. Captain v Vice-Captain, Ladies Invitation, President's Day, Visiting Club Day, Centenary Cup, Away Day, Finals Weekend, Victoria Ladies, President v Captain
Shorts Grey, tailored, with/without 'Bowls England' logo When player is representing the club e.g. Group 6, Cutler, Larman Cup, Centenary Cup
Shorts White, tailored, with/without 'Bowls England' logo When player is representing the club e.g. Group 6, Cutler, Larman Cup, Centenary Cup
Shoes Brown, Grey or white Whenever a player is on the green/rink
Hat White When player is bowling

When a member is bowling at HOME or AWAY on behalf of the Club, or bowling as the 'Home' team in a Club annual competition.
Sticker White When a member is bowling as the 'Away' team in a Club annual competition.

1.1 Shirt - there are two shirts worn by members -
a) plain white, with a collar [obtainable for Matalan or Primark]. You can choose to have the Club badge embroidered [Crawlers, Hamstel Road] and optionally your name underneath;
b) Purple and white, one of which a new member receives free, which will have the Club badge already on it. You are welcome to have your name embroidered on it.

1.2) Trousers - two colours of trousers are worn -
a) Grey, worn for most games [see above] and;
b) White* worn on specific occasions. The Club Fixture booklet confirms which colour should be worn, failure to do so could result in a fine, which is donated to the President's annual charity collection.
1.3) Shoes - Four colours of shoes may be worn - Grey, Brown, White or Black. The shoes must have flat soles. *NOTE - The term White, means shoes, trousers and shirt to be white 1.4) Shorts may be worn as well - need to be tailored, grey or have the Bowls England logo on them
